Teaching Philosophy and Experience

As an educator, I strive to lead students to understand and approach the social and global world critically and analytically. I seek to construct inclusive and intellectually open environments where students can communicate, share, disagree, and become inquisitive and invested. I am committed to prepare students to thrive and succeed in a globalized world by acquiring essential skills in communication and collaboration. I have taught a wide range of courses in the Department of Sociology at UCLA and previous institute where I pursued graduate studies.
